St. Ives Carnival and Music Festival
The St. Ives Carnival and Music Festival is back again, with a new committee and a magical schedule of events that will deliver a three-day celebration of film, fun, music and community. This year we are committed to delivering more fun than ever, but in a responsible and sustainable way, so we are doing all we can to reduce the negative impact on both our environment and your wallets!
As part of this and owing to a lack of commitment and funds, we are sadly not able to hold a carnival procession this year. However, you can still get involved and win a great prize by joining our Parade of the Gardens. Please see our news page for more information.
The rest of the event will be held at Hill Rise Park. Bring your family and friends, we can’t wait to see you there!
Magical film, food and festivities
6pm – 9.30pm: Gates open for an evening of magical entertainment and open-air cinema, with sing-a-long film Encanto, complete with a delicious selection of food and beverages for sale.
Celebrating the magic of St. Ives
10am – 12pm: Parade to the Gardens. Our Mayor judges the the most magical gardens in St Ives.
12pm – 5pm: Celebrating our community, with dance, theatre and song plus fitness classes for all.
7pm – 9.35pm: Proms in the Park featuring The Haverhill Silver Band and fireworks.
12pm-9.35pm: All the fun of the Fair with fair rides, market stalls and food traders.
A feast for all the senses
12pm – 9pm: All the Fun of the Fair, fair rides, market stalls and food.
12pm – 9pm: Musical acts, DJs and bands, featuring local groups, national stars and ending with the incredible tribute act A Night with Take That.
